POISON SPYDER CUSTOMS TIRE CARRIER DELETE PLATE

  • Brand POISON SPYDER CUSTOMS

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Tap Worldwide, LLC is recalling certain Poison Spyder Customs Tire Carrier Delete Plates (part number 19-04-012P1) sold as aftermarket parts. These plates may not provide a license plate illumination lamp, may interfere with the center high-mounted brake light positioning, and may cause the rear visibility system to be inoperable. If the high-mounted brake light does not work, it can reduce warning to other drivers that a vehicle is slowing or stopping. If the rear camera is inoperable, the driver may have reduced visibility of what is behind the vehicle. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.

TAP will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected Tire Carrier Delete Plates free of charge. The recall began February 12, 2019. Owners can contact TAP customer service at 1-888-376-1417.
