Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Blue Bird Body Company is recalling certain 2013-2020 Blue Bird Vision school buses equipped with Ford 6.8L V10 engines because hydraulic brake lines or transmission shifter cables may have been improperly routed. This routing issue can expose the brake line to excessive heat, causing it to leak hydraulic brake fluid, or allow the transmission shifter cable to contact the fuel supply line, potentially causing a fuel leak. Either condition increases the risk of fire.
To remedy the issue, Blue Bird dealers will install a bracket that insulates brake lines from excessive heat, controls brake line routing, and secures the transmission shifter cable away from the fuel line, at no cost to owners. The recall began February 7, 2019. Affected owners should contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242 or reference recall number R19ZV-SB.
