What happened

Chrysler is recalling certain 2017 Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles because the tire placard label on these vehicles incorrectly lists the seating capacity as 6 occupants instead of 7, and shows a combined weight of 950 pounds instead of 1,100 pounds. An incorrect tire label may confuse customers and potentially result in vehicle overloading, which increases the risk of a crash.

To remedy the issue, Chrysler will notify owners and dealers will replace the tire placard label at no cost. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 and reference recall number T37.
