Is my product affected?

2017 FORD F-150

  • Brand FORD

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2017 F-150 trucks equipped with an eight-inch productivity screen. In cold weather, the instrument cluster may lose power after the vehicle starts, causing several gauges to fail to illuminate, including the transmission gear position indicator. When drivers cannot see which gear the transmission is in, they may be unable to tell the transmission's position, which increases the risk of a crash or unintended vehicle movement that could cause injury.

Ford will notify owners of affected vehicles, and dealers will reprogram the instrument cluster at no charge. Owners of recalled vehicles should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The recall identification number is 17C01, and the recall began on February 20, 2017.
