Entegra Coach is recalling certain 2017 Aspire, Anthem, Cornerstone, and Insignia motorhomes built on Spartan Motors chassis between April 15, 2016, and October 25, 2016. The throttle circuit wires in these vehicles may not have been twisted to prevent electromagnetic interference, which could cause the throttle signal to become higher or lower than intended, potentially resulting in unintended deceleration or acceleration and increasing the risk of a crash.
Affected owners should contact either Spartan customer service at 1-800-543-4277 or Entegra customer service at 1-800-945-4787. Spartan service centers will install an overlay harness with twisted wires at no charge to owners. The recall remedy began on November 29, 2016.
