2016 FIAT 500
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Chrysler is recalling certain 2016 Fiat 500 vehicles manufactured between June 11, 2015, and July 27, 2016, because the tire placard lists an incorrect tire inflation pressure for the spare tire that exceeds the maximum pressure shown on the tire sidewall. If the spare tire is used while overinflated to the pressure listed on the placard, the tire may suddenly fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
To remedy this issue, Fiat will notify owners and dealers will add an overlay to the tire placard with correct tire inflation information at no charge. The recall began October 25, 2016. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Chrysler customer service at 1-888-242-6342 (recall number S69).
