2015 FIAT 500L
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Chrysler is recalling certain 2015 Fiat 500L vehicles manufactured between April 23, 2015, and May 10, 2015, because the passenger frontal air bag module may not have been folded properly during assembly. If the vehicle is involved in a crash, this defect could prevent the air bag from inflating as designed, increasing the risk of injury to front seat occupants. The affected vehicles do not comply with federal occupant crash protection standards.
Fiat will notify owners of the recall at no charge. Dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag module free of charge. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Fiat customer service at 1-888-242-6342 to determine if their vehicle is included in this recall (Chrysler recall number R54).
