Land Rover is recalling certain 2015 Discovery Sport vehicles manufactured between September 17, 2014 and November 3, 2014, as well as 2014-2015 Range Rover Evoque vehicles manufactured between July 15, 2013 and July 1, 2015. The affected vehicles have transmission sensor clusters with insufficient crimps in the transmission wire harness, which may cause the automatic transmission to unexpectedly shift into neutral while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Land Rover will notify owners of the recall, which began October 14, 2016. Dealers will inspect the automatic transmission serial number and, if necessary, update the transmission software at no charge to prevent the transmission from shifting into neutral. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 to have the issue addressed. The recall is identified as P091.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LCC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2015 Discovery Sport manufactured September 17, 2014 through November 3, 2014 and 2014-2015 Range Rover Evoque vehicles manufactured July 15, 2013 through July 1, 2015.
