Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2015-2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport vehicles manufactured between September 17, 2014, and March 5, 2016. In these vehicles, the license plate illumination lamp may fall out, which could make the vehicle difficult to identify at night and violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements for lighting equipment.
Land Rover will notify owners and has dealers replace both rear license plate lamp housings at no cost. The recall began on June 21, 2016. Affected consumers should contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 and reference recall number P077 to arrange service.
