What happened

Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2012-2017 Ace, 2013 Citation, 2012-2013 Siesta, and 2017 Four Winds and Road Bear Rental motorhomes because their shower curtains may not adequately resist catching fire if exposed to an ignition source. The curtains do not meet federal flammability standards, and a fire involving these flammable materials could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

To address this issue, Thor will notify owners and replace the shower curtains with fire-retardant versions at no cost. The recall began on September 15, 2016. Affected owners should contact Thor customer service at 1-877-500-1020 and reference recall number RC000121 to arrange for the replacement.
