Jayco is recalling certain 2017 Jay Flight SLX travel trailers, model 212 QBW, manufactured between June 27 and June 28, 2016. These trailers have incorrect weight information printed on their Cargo Carrying Capacity and Tire Labels. The incorrect weight can lead operators to overload the vehicle, which may affect how the vehicle handles and increase the risk of a crash.
Jayco began notifying dealers about this recall on July 6, 2016, and has provided corrected labels to dealers at no charge. Affected owners should contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-2833-8267 and reference recall number 9901300 to have the corrected labels installed on their trailers.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2017 Jay Flight SLX travel trailers, model 212 QBW, manufactured June 27, 2016, to June 28, 2016. The affected vehicles were manufactured with Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) and Tire Labels indicating incorrect vehicle weight. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
