2018 JAYCO TRAVEL TRAILER EAGLE

  • Brand JAYCO TRAVEL TRAILER

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 Eagle TT 330RSTS recreational trailers because the Federal Placard on these vehicles displays an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). The label states the axles can support 5,800 pounds, but they actually have a capacity of only 5,660 pounds. This discrepancy means the vehicle could be loaded beyond its actual safe weight capacity, which could cause the driver to lose control and increase the risk of a crash.

Jayco will notify owners of the recall, which began on June 1, 2017. Dealers will provide new Federal ID labels with the correct GAWR at no cost to owners. Affected consumers should contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
