Honda is recalling certain 2004-2007 Accord vehicles manufactured between October 1, 2003, and August 17, 2007, because they may have an incorrect passenger frontal air bag module that does not meet advanced air bag requirements. This non-compliant air bag module increases the risk of injury or death in the event of a crash and violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208.
If you own an affected vehicle, Honda will notify you and dealers will inspect and replace the air bag module free of charge. To proceed with the recall remedy, contact Honda customer service at 1-800-999-1009 and reference recall number JZ3.

The affected vehicles may have been assembled with an incorrect passenger frontal air bag module that does not comply with the advanced air bag requirements.
