Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
American Honda Motor Co. is recalling certain 2005-2016 Honda and Acura vehicles equipped with dual-stage driver frontal air bags. The inflator in these air bags may be susceptible to moisture intrusion that could cause it to rupture during a crash. If the air bag deploys after rupturing, metal fragments could strike the driver or other occupants, potentially causing serious injury or death. Affected models include the Honda CR-V, CR-Z, Fit, Fit EV, FCX, Insight, and Ridgeline, as well as the Acura ILX, ILX Hybrid, RDX, RL, TL, and ZDX.
Owners of affected vehicles should contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 to arrange service. Honda will notify owners and dealers will replace the inflator at no charge. This recall began in March 2017, and Honda has assigned recall numbers JY0, JY1, and JY2 to this issue.
