What happened

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2015-2016 Starcraft Quest and XL school buses manufactured between June 1, 2015, and November 1, 2015, that are equipped with Transpec T6000, T6100, or T7000 series stop arms. The stop arm blade assemblies on these buses have reflective decals that may peel off, which reduces the visibility of the stop arm to other drivers and increases the risk of crashes.

Forest River will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace the affected stop arm blade assembly at no cost. Owners should contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-348-7440 or the stop arm manufacturer at 1-800-951-7867 to arrange the replacement. Forest River's recall number is 5-12222015-0125.
