Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2014-2016 motorhomes and buses equipped with backup camera systems that may display reversed images. When the camera displays reversed images, objects or people on the left side of the screen may actually be on the right side of the vehicle, or vice versa, creating an increased risk of a crash. The recall affects specific model year 2015 Glaval Bus models (Apollo, Concorde, Entourage, and Legacy), Elkhart Coach ECE4, 2014-2016 AllStar XL models, and 2014-2015 Forest River and Starcraft models (Rockport, Starquest, AllStar, Starlite, AllStar MVP, XLT, and Xpress).
Owners of affected vehicles should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-264-5179 to arrange a remedy. Forest River will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace the camera system free of charge. The recall began on August 25, 2015, and owners can reference recall number 51-06232015-0057 when contacting the company.
