Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2016 Salem recreational trailers manufactured between June 2, 2015, and October 6, 2015, and 2015 Wildwood recreational trailers manufactured between June 3, 2015, and October 1, 2015. The tire and wheel placard on these trailers incorrectly states the wheel rim and tire size. If an incorrect tire and rim is installed based on this placard, the vehicle may become unstable when towing, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River will notify affected owners and provide a corrected tire placard at no charge. The recall began on October 26, 2015. Owners of affected trailers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-453-6064 and reference recall number 19-10082015-0093.

(Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2016 Salem recreational trailers manufactured June 2, 2015, to October 6, 2015 and 2015 Wildwood recreational trailers manufactured June 3, 2015, to October 1, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the tire and wheel placard incorrectly states the wheel rim and tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
