  • Brand HICKORY SPRINGS

What happened

Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company is recalling certain Phantomizer 19" Conversion Van Seats (Part No. CF8819LEG027-01) manufactured on October 10, 2016. These seats are equipped with Atwood slide tracks that may not properly engage, which could allow the seats to move during a crash. This condition causes the seats to fail to meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt assembly anchorages, potentially increasing the risk of injury to occupants.

If you own one of the affected seats, Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company will notify you and offer a free replacement. To arrange for a replacement or if you have questions about whether your seat is included in the recall, you should contact HSM customer service at 1-800-438-5341.

Hazard

If the seat moves in the event of a crash, the seat occupant would be at an increased risk of injury.

What should I do?

HSM will notify the purchasers of the seats and will offer replacements free of charge. Owners may contact HSM customer service at 1-800-438-5341.
