Soaring Helmet Corporation is recalling certain Stealth Phantom motorcycle helmets with part numbers 8300 and 8351 in all sizes and graphics that were manufactured between April 1, 2013, and December 30, 2014. These helmets may fail to protect wearers from penetration injuries during a crash and do not meet federal safety standards for motorcycle helmets.
If you own an affected helmet, you should contact Soaring Helmet Corporation at 1-425-656-0683. Retailers will exchange your helmet for a different Stealth helmet or provide a refund at no charge. Soaring also placed a notification about the recall on the Stealth website on May 4, 2016.

Soaring Helmet Corporation (Soaring) is recalling certain Stealth Phantom helmets, part numbers 8300 and 8351, in sizes extra small through XXL, in all sizes and graphics, manufactured April 1, 2013, to December 30, 2014. The affected helmets may not adequately protect the wearer from penetration injuries in the event of a crash. As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
