Compass Conversions, LLC is recalling one 2014 Bloomer Horse Trailer, one 2015 Platinum Horse Trailer, and one Atwood water heater from company inventory. All contain Atwood Model on-demand water heaters with a defective gas valve that may cause the water to overheat. When water overheats, it can release steam that may scald the operator and cause injury.
Compass Conversions will notify owners, and Atwood dealers will install a remedy kit at no cost. The recall began January 10, 2016. Affected consumers should contact Compass Conversion customer service at 1-254-771-9909 or Atwood customer service at 1-574-264-2131.
