Tiny Idahomes LLC is recalling certain recreational vehicles from model years 2014-2016 equipped with specific Atwood on-demand water heaters. The affected models include Clear Creek and Cascade vehicles manufactured between May 1, 2014 and December 1, 2015, and Carpathian vehicles manufactured between May 1, 2015 and December 1, 2015. These water heaters contain a defective water and gas valve that can cause the water to overheat, creating a risk of scalding injuries from steam release when using the hot water tap.
Tiny Idahomes will notify owners and provide a free remedy through Atwood dealers. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Tiny Idahomes customer service at 1-208-468-0576 or Atwood customer service at 1-574-264-2131 to arrange the repair.
