What happened

Supreme Corporation is recalling certain 2015-2016 Supreme Classic American Trolley vehicles manufactured between October 1, 2014, and November 2, 2015. These vehicles have windshields that meet AS2 or AS3 specifications instead of the required AS1 specification, which fails to comply with federal safety standards for glazing materials. Windshields that do not meet AS1 requirements may reduce driver visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

Supreme will notify owners, and dealers will replace the noncompliant windshields at no charge. The recall began on January 11, 2016. Affected owners should contact Supreme customer service at 1-574-642-4888 extension 237.

Supreme Corporation (Supreme) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Supreme Classis American Trolley vehicles manufactured October 1, 2014, to November 2, 2015. The affected vehicles were manufactured with windshields that meet AS2 or AS3 specifications, not the AS1 specification as required. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 205 "Glazing Materials.
