Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2015-2016 VAH and VHD trucks manufactured between April 1, 2014, and August 14, 2015. The headlights on these vehicles may not provide enough illumination on the roadway, which increases the risk of a crash and fails to meet federal safety standards for lighting.
Volvo will notify owners and replace the headlights at no charge through authorized dealers. The recall began on January 19, 2016. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Volvo customer service at 1-800-528-6586 and reference recall number RVXX1505 to arrange service.

Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 VAH and VHD trucks manufactured April 1, 2014, to August 14, 2015. The affected vehicles may be equipped with headlights that do not meet the minimum intensity requirements, resulting in insufficient illumination of the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
