Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Honda is recalling certain 2014-2015 Honda Accord Hybrid vehicles manufactured between August 29, 2013, and May 30, 2015, due to a hybrid propulsion system defect. Electrical interference may cause the hybrid system to enter fail-safe mode, which disables the gasoline engine and limits the vehicle to 40 miles per hour on battery power alone. Once the battery is discharged, the vehicle will stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Honda will notify owners and dealers will update the hybrid system software at no charge. The recall began on November 6, 2015. Affected consumers should contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 or reference recall number JT7.
