2016 HONDA HR-V
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Honda is recalling certain 2016 HR-V vehicles manufactured between January 12, 2015, and May 20, 2015, because the tire placard may be missing from these vehicles. The tire placard displays the recommended tire pressure and loading information. Without this label, drivers may not know the correct pressure at which to inflate their tires, which could lead to over-inflation or under-inflation and potentially cause tire failure or a crash.
To remedy this issue, Honda will notify owners and dealers will inspect the vehicles and apply a new tire placard label at no charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138, and can reference Honda recall numbers JT2 or JT4.
