What happened

Ford is recalling certain 2015 Lincoln MKT Town Car vehicles equipped with the livery package that were manufactured between February 4, 2015, and June 23, 2015. These vehicles were delivered without the second row seating that they were supposed to have, which means they lack the required tether anchorage at the front passenger seating position. Without proper seating and restraints, occupants are at increased risk of injury in a crash.

Ford dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and install the missing second row seating. Owners of recalled vehicles should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to arrange service. The recall identification number is 15C08.
