2015 SHASTA AIRFLYTE
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River is recalling certain 2015 Shasta Airflyte SAT16 and SAT19 recreational travel trailers manufactured between September 15, 2014, and October 22, 2014. These trailers have an incorrect Federal Certification Label that lists wrong information about tire size, gross axle weight rating, gross vehicle weight rating, and cargo carrying capacity. If an operator overloads the trailer based on this incorrect labeling information, the tires may fail suddenly, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Forest River will notify owners, and authorized dealers will install a corrected label at no charge. Owners of affected trailers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8717 to arrange for the label replacement. The recall number is 54-06052015-0047.
