2015 FOREST RIVER WILDCAT
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River is recalling certain 2015 Wildcat recreational fifth wheel trailers manufactured between November 6, 2014, and February 18, 2015. The Federal Certification Labels on these trailers incorrectly list the gross vehicle weight rating as 13,000 pounds when it should be 11,999 pounds. If a trailer is loaded to the weight shown on the incorrect label, the trailer pin box that connects it to a towing vehicle may fail, potentially causing loss of control and increasing crash risk.
To address this recall, Forest River will send owners corrected Federal Certification Labels at no charge. Owners of affected trailers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600. The recall notification process began on March 24, 2015.
