CUMMINS WESTPORT ISL G
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Cummins Inc. is recalling certain Cummins Westport ISL G engines manufactured between September 13, 2007, and September 23, 2015. These engines were sold for use in Mack Trucks and Navistar vehicles as both original and replacement equipment. The turbocharger oil supply line in these engines may contact or interfere with the turbocharger inlet elbow, clean air intake clamp, or air fuel control tube, causing an oil leak near the engine exhaust manifold, which increases the risk of fire.
To remedy this issue, Cummins will notify owners and dealers will inspect the oil supply line for interference or damage at no charge. If necessary, the oil supply line will be replaced. The recall began on November 23, 2015. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Cummins at 1-800-343-7357 and reference recall number C1673.
