Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ford is recalling certain 2015 Ford Mustang vehicles manufactured between August 18, 2014, and October 2, 2014, because the passenger safety belt tension sensor may incorrectly classify the size of front passenger seat occupants. This misclassification could cause improper passenger air bag deployment during a crash, potentially increasing the risk of injury. The vehicles fail to meet federal occupant crash protection standards.
Ford dealers will replace the passenger safety belt buckle at no cost to owners. The recall began on October 28, 2014. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 14C08 to arrange the replacement.
