Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Certain model year 2011-2014 Trans Tech Bus school buses manufactured between January 10, 2011, and March 10, 2014, and equipped with 39" seats are being recalled because the seats may not remain properly anchored to the floor. In a crash, an improperly anchored seat creates an increased risk of injury to the occupant. The affected buses do not comply with federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt assembly anchorages.
Transportation Collaborative, Inc. (TCI) will notify owners of the recall, which began on April 23, 2014. Dealers will install additional mounts to secure the seats to the floor at no cost to the owner. Affected consumers should contact TCI at 1-845-988-2333.
