Three Feathers Manufacturing, LLC is recalling certain travel trailers and campers from model years 2006-2014, including Mule Cargo, Backpacker, Buckboard Cargo Hauler, Pinecone Tear Drop, Pelican Cargo, Tumbleweed Tear Drop, and Custom models, all equipped with Fastec-brand door locks. The locks can jam if the key is removed in a certain way, which may also jam the interior lock mechanism, potentially trapping a person inside the vehicle and creating a risk of injury.
Three Feathers will notify owners of the recall, which began on March 31, 2014. Owners should contact Three Feathers at 1-541-663-8163 or Fastec at 1-800-837-2505 to arrange a free inspection and replacement of the lock cylinders if needed.

If the deadbolt jams, the interior side of the door lock may also jam. A person inside the travel trailer or camper at the time will then be locked in and be unable to exit the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
