What happened

Trails West Manufacturing of Idaho, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 RPM bumper pull recreational trailers manufactured between October 2009 and January 2014 that are equipped with a Suburban-brand SF-30 FQ furnace. The plastic furnace intake fan in these trailers may melt, causing the furnace to overheat and other plastic components to melt due to restricted air flow. This condition could result in a trailer fire.

To address this issue, Trails West Manufacturing will send owners repair kits with detailed inspection instructions. If damage to the intake fan is detected, owners can take their trailer to an authorized repair facility to have the furnace replaced at no charge. Owners should contact Trails West Manufacturing of Idaho, Inc. at 1-208-852-2200 for more information.
