ROUSH PROPANE CONVERSION KIT
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Roush CleanTech, LLC is recalling certain propane fuel system conversion kits manufactured between January 2011 and August 2012 that were installed on Ford E-Series vans and wagons (E-150, E-250, E-350, and E-450 models). The kits contain an aluminum fuel line fitting that can corrode due to a reaction between the different metals in the system, potentially causing a propane leak where the fitting contacts the brass supply valve housing.
A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source creates a fire risk. Roush will notify owners, and authorized Roush service centers will replace the aluminum fitting with a stainless steel fitting at no charge. The recall began on August 5, 2014. Affected consumers should contact Roush customer service at 1-800-597-6874.
