2008 HYUNDAI ENTOURAGE; 2007 HYUNDAI ENTOURAGE
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Hyundai is recalling certain 2007-2008 Hyundai Entourage vehicles manufactured between February 16, 2006, and June 30, 2008, that were sold in or are currently registered in twenty-one states and the District of Columbia, primarily in the Northeast and Midwest. The front lower control arms in these vehicles may fracture due to corrosion from road salt and water exposure, which could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and increase crash risk.
Hyundai will notify owners, and authorized dealers will inspect the front lower control arms for corrosion and either apply rustproofing or replace the arms at no cost to the owner. The recall began on January 3, 2014. Owners can contact Hyundai at 1-800-633-5151 or consumeraffairs@hmausa.com, and should reference recall number 115.
