What happened

Glaval Bus is recalling certain 2009-2010 transit buses, including Entourage, Sport, Universal, Titan, Titan II, Apollo, Primetime, Concorde, and Concorde II models manufactured between August 4, 2009, and June 7, 2010, that are equipped with A&M Systems-brand electric door actuators. A defect in these actuators can cause voltage spikes that damage electrical components, leading the circuit board to develop high resistance and potentially overheat, which increases the risk of fire.

To remedy this issue, Glaval Bus will notify owners and dealers will replace the affected circuit board at no cost. The recall process began on November 14, 2013. Affected consumers should contact Glaval Bus at 1-574-262-2212 to arrange the replacement.
