Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Prevost is recalling certain model year buses from 2005 to 2014, including X3-45, H3-45, H3-45 VIP, XL2, and XL2-45 Entertainer models equipped with super single tires. The certification plates on these buses display incorrect tire pressure specifications that are higher than what the super single tires should be inflated to. If owners inflate tires to the pressure shown on the plate, the tires may become overinflated, which reduces traction and braking ability and can affect vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash.
Prevost will notify owners of affected buses, and authorized dealers will replace the certification plate at no charge to the owner. The recall began on November 22, 2013. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Prevost at 1-418-2888 and reference recall number SR13-61.
