  • Brand LOTUS

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Lotus Cars is recalling certain 2013 Evora vehicles manufactured between September 2012 and November 2012 because they lack the required temporary exemption label and contain an incorrect manufacture date on the Federal Certification Label. These vehicles have been granted a temporary exemption from advanced air bag requirements, but without the proper labeling, owners may not be able to determine whether the recall applies to their vehicle, which could increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Lotus Cars will notify owners and instruct them to bring their vehicles to a Lotus dealer, where the federal compliance label will be replaced and an exemption label will be applied at no charge. Owners of affected vehicles can contact Lotus Cars at 1-770-476-6564 or reference recall number 2013/02R.
