Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
KTM North America is recalling certain 2012 and 2013 model year 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC motorcycles manufactured between September 2011 and August 2012. These motorcycles have preformed fuel hoses between the fuel tank and throttle body fuel rail that may develop cracks or holes due to manufacturing inconsistencies, potentially allowing fuel to leak during use.
The fuel leakage poses two hazards: fuel may leak onto the rear tire while riding, increasing crash risk, or fuel may ignite if exposed to an ignition source. KTM dealers will replace the defective fuel hoses at no charge. Affected owners should contact KTM Customer Relations at 1-888-985-6090 to arrange the replacement.
