2013 CADILLAC XTS
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
General Motors is recalling certain 2013 Cadillac XTS vehicles manufactured between October 12, 2011, and August 30, 2012, because the rear seat head restraints may not lock in the upright position after being folded forward. When the head restraint is at its lowest position, it can fall forward and fail to meet federal safety height requirements. In a vehicle crash, a lowered head restraint may increase the risk of neck injury to occupants.
General Motors will notify owners, and dealers will replace the head restraints at no charge. The recall began on December 4, 2012. Affected owners should contact General Motors at 1-800-458-8006.
