2011 MO TRAILERS 41 VS; 2011 MO TRAILERS 39 VS

  • Brand MO TRAILERS

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

MO Trailers Corporation is recalling three model year 2011 39 VS and 41 VS trailers equipped with electric/hydraulic (E/H) brake actuator pumps, as well as two additional affected actuators sold as retail parts. Some of these pumps may not have been properly heat treated, which can cause premature wear of critical components and render the unit inoperable. The E/H brake actuator provides braking power to the trailer brakes, and failure of the actuator can result in loss of braking effort, increasing the risk of a crash.

MO Trailers notified owners of the affected actuators on March 26, 2012. According to the recall record, affected consumers should contact MO Trailers at 1-574-533-0824.
