Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
HME Corporation is recalling certain model year 2009 through 2012 fire trucks manufactured between January 16, 2009, and November 1, 2011, that are equipped with a Meritor Wabco Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system with part number 446 065 027 0 manufactured between September 15, 2005, and September 1, 2011. Under certain road and driving conditions, the vehicle's body roll and road inclination characteristics may cause the ESC system to incorrectly calculate the slip angle, leading it to perceive an oversteering situation and apply the outer wheel brake on the front axle.
If the driver reacts slowly during this ESC intervention, the vehicle may deviate from its intended line of travel, increasing the risk of a crash. HME will notify owners and replace the control module free of charge. Owners of affected vehicles should contact HME at 1-616-534-1463 to arrange for the replacement.

HME CORPORATION IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009 THROUGH 2012 FIRE TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FROM JANUARY 16, 2009, THROUGH NOVEMBER 1, 2011, BUILT WITH MERITOR WABCO ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC) SYSTEM MANUFACTURED FROM SEPTEMBER 15, 2005 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 1, 2011, WITH PART NUMBER 446 065 027 0. UNDER CERTAIN ROAD AND DRIVING CONDITIONS, VEHICLE BODY ROLL AND ROAD INCLINATION CHARACTERISTICS MAY ADVERSELY AFFECT THE SLIP ANGLE CALCULATION OF THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC) SYSTEM. THIS MIGHT CAUSE THE ESC TO PERCEIVE AN OVER STEERING SITUATION AND THEREFORE APPLY THE OUTER WHEEL BRAKE ON THE FRONT AXLE UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS PERCEIVED TO BE STABLE.
