Samefa plastic dolls have been recalled because their plastic material contains bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) at levels up to 25 percent by weight. This chemical is prohibited in toys under the REACH Regulation because it may harm children's health, including potential damage to the reproductive system. The recall affects two products: a Mermaid doll with accessories in blister packaging (reference 3661, manufacturer's reference 31444W) and "The Mini Mermaids" dolls consisting of one large and one small mermaid (reference 4219, manufacturer's reference 532).
