Buoyancy aids (swimming vests) with the brand names "Swim Vest" (in orange, yellow, and blue variants labeled Step A, Step B, and Bonch Vest Step C) have been recalled because the air valve is not a non-return valve. This design defect allows air to leak out of the vest, which could cause it to deflate and create a drowning risk for the user. The vests do not meet the safety requirements of the European standard EN 13138.
