Chainsaw
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Kraft & Dele has recalled two models of petrol-powered chainsaws due to multiple safety defects. The KD153 model features a 400mm green blade, while the KD151 model has a 450mm blue blade; both are 52cc and sold in pairs per box for end-user assembly. The chainsaws have handles that are too small to grip properly while wearing gloves, and their chain brakes, throttle interlocks, and stop functions do not operate correctly. These defects mean the products do not meet the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the European standard EN 11681-1.
The remedy ordered requires destruction of the product, effective as of July 3, 2014. The source does not specify what actions affected consumers should take regarding chainsaws already in their possession.
