What happened

Certain Mazda CX-5, Mazda 6, and Mazda 3 vehicles may experience a short circuit in the injector control circuit that could cause the engine to stop and reduce braking assistance. This defect increases the risk of injury in accidents and means the vehicles do not comply with motor vehicle approval regulations.

Hazard
