Romet children's bicycles with 12" or 16" wheels and side wheels (stabilizers) are being recalled due to two safety hazards. The crank nuts have sharp edges that may cut a child's leg or fingers during riding or maintenance, and the seat posts have a quick-release mechanism that may loosen during riding, causing the seat to become unstable and potentially causing the child to lose balance and fall. The affected models are Diana 16Y, Salto 16B, Diana 16S, Diana 12, Salto 16, and Salto 12, distributed between August 2012 and July 2016. The bicycles do not comply with the European standard EN 8098.
