Dolls with accessories
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ledy Toys has recalled battery-operated baby dolls with accessories due to a safety hazard involving the battery compartment. The battery compartment can detach from the doll and create a small part that poses a choking risk to children. The products do not comply with the Toy Safety Directive or the European standard EN 71-1. Two models are affected: Model LD9810B (a baby doll with long hair and cap) and Model LD9810A (a baby doll with short hair), both sold with various accessories including bottles and packed in cardboard boxes.
The importer has been ordered to reject the product at the border as of April 1, 2017. The source document does not specify what actions consumers who may already possess these dolls should take.
