The Power Gun No 5638 is a black plastic toy pistol measuring 143 mm in length and 89 mm in height that fires plastic projectiles. The product poses a serious risk of damage to sight because it generates kinetic energy of 0.12 J when firing rigid projectiles without flexible tips. This exceeds the safe limit of 0.08 J specified in the Toys Directive and European standard EN 71. The toy comes supplied with three black plastic projectiles and three red soft suction cups that can be attached to the projectiles, and is packaged in a welded blister pack with cardboard backing.

It is supplied with three black plastic projectiles measuring 69 mm in length and three red suction cups made of a soft material and measuring approximately 20 mm to 25 mm in diameter that can be fitted onto the projectiles.
