Tesco is recalling toy binoculars (model 051105, EAN 5051008230864) because the plastic eyepieces contain 9.91% by weight of DEHP, a chemical that exceeds the permitted limit of 0.1% by weight under the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC. This chemical poses a serious health risk to children.
